And then motherhood deepened that perspective even more.

Welcoming our son, Jess, made me slower to rush moments and quicker to notice them- the subtle glances, the reassurance in a hand squeeze, the beauty in what might otherwise go unseen.

Now, when I photograph a wedding, I’m paying attention to what truly matters-  not just the big moments, but the ones that quietly shape the day.

Becoming a bride changed the way I experience wedding days.

Standing in my own dress, holding my husband’s hands, I understood how quickly everything moves- the anticipation, the nerves, the quiet seconds before walking down the aisle. The way your people look at you with pride you can feel without a single word being spoken.

I realized then that wedding photography isn’t just about documenting a celebration- it’s about preserving what it felt like to live it.
